SURROGACY
Surrogacy can be performed for various reasons (e.g., those who have had their uterus removed for any reason, those with congenital no uterus (MRKH Syndrome), those unable to carry a pregnancy due to uterine structure, recurrent pregnancy losses, and other health reasons). It involves transferring cells (eggs and sperm) from the mother and father to a suitable embryo created in a laboratory.
It should not be confused with donation (egg or sperm transplant). The baby's genetic makeup comes from the birth parents. The surrogate mother and the baby have no genetic connection. If there is a problem with the mother's reproductive cells that prevents them from having a baby, egg, sperm, or embryo donation may be an option. The surrogate mother cannot also be an egg donor.
Things to Consider!!!
Legal Aspect: This is very important and covers the entire process from the decision-making process until you take your baby home. The contract, the country where the procedure will take place, and the laws of the mother and the surrogate mother are crucial for both the family and the surrogate mother.
Selecting the Surrogate Mother:
First, a surrogate mother must be identified who is psychologically and physically healthy. She must be within the legally permitted age range (18-35) and have had a previous healthy birth. She must lead a regular and healthy lifestyle. A thorough physical and psychological health screening must be conducted.
In Vitro Fertilization and Pregnancy:
The clinic where the IVF procedure will be performed must be located in a country where surrogacy is legally permitted. It must also be legally authorized to perform the surrogacy procedure and provide the family with the necessary documentation to register the baby with the family at the time of birth. The clinic must be physically adequate and have an experienced team. Necessary tests and examinations must be completed promptly and thoroughly throughout the pregnancy, and the family must be fully informed. Surrogacy has been legally practiced in Georgia for many years.
Every step of the treatment procedure is strictly supervised by the Ministry of Health and Justice, ensuring that all parties involved in the surrogacy process reach a peaceful conclusion without any harm. All official records (hospital, passport) for your baby list the real mother's name, not the surrogate's. Our experienced team will be by your side until you reach a final decision, providing a detailed explanation of the procedure, identifying a surrogate mother, preparing all necessary legal agreements, scheduling your medical procedures and appointments, transportation, accommodation arrangements, and guidance, organizing the birth and subsequent legal processes, and organizing your return home with your baby, all at our most affordable prices. All transactions will be handled with confidentiality.
